Pure motion fitness is the real deal. Although I got my undergrad degree in Kinesiology and physiology, I learn something new from Kevin every week. The environment is nurturing yet challenging, private yet affordable and most of all, motivating. Although I have been on medications which are supposed to break your body down (chemo, hormone blockades), through the last year I have actually become stronger and healthier than I started. Thank you Kevin!
I joined PMF in February and since then it has been a fun, energetic ride. Instructors are great. Workout almost feels like a 1:1 session due to the personal attn the instructors can give in a smaller class environment. Classes are only 45min but they are aggressive so you get a days worth in that time.. Love it.
The personal trainers at Pure Motion Fitness are great. They provide clear direction, teach you new movements and exercises, watch your form and provide feedback. In the small group setting your trainers get to know you – they modify exercises if needed for injuries or other issues and also challenge you to do more. It motivates me to push myself when they push me because I know I won’t get injured and they understand the level I want to reach. The trainers, in addition to their skill and knowledge, have different personalities and styles which also help to keep the variety in workouts so I don’t get bored.
The workouts are fun and challenging. The benefit of having personal trainers lead the classes is they can be modified for my specific needs. It is comforting to know that the trainers will take the time to help me though any physical limitations I might have. During class we work on a variety of muscle groups, balance and cardio each workout. We use a variety of equipment including – TRX, medicine balls, pulley’s, straps, dumb bells, and own-body weight exercises This keeps things fresh and challenging. It’s important to me that I have an experienced trainer “telling me what to do” so I don’t have to think about the routine, I only have to focus on the exercise.
Lastly, you also get to know the other folks that come to the class – making new friends. The peer pressure is also a great motivator during the workouts.
This place is awesome. I don’t like gyms or working out, but Pure Motion is a different vibe. It’s like getting semi private personal training at the fraction of what personal training costs. I’ve worked with Kevin for years even before he owned Pure Motion, he’s taking this gym to the next level because he truly cares about his clients and the staff.
I don’t think I could get the level of fitness experience that Kevin and his staff offers, plus the nutritional education that he offers, which dramatically improved my results from anywhere else.
I always tease Kevin about his slogan which is “Let Moses lead you to the Healthy Land” but in all honesty, it’s true, because he can and does day in and day out.

I’ve been coming to Kevin at Pure Motion Fitness for the last month. His small group personal training classes are fast, fun and efficient. Perfect for me since he has early classes (as well as many others) that fit perfectly into my morning getting me energized to take on my busy day.
My wife and I have just started at Pure Motion Fitness. We really enjoy working with Kevin and getting back in shape. He makes it fun and we really get a dynamite workout! He has helped us to focus on improving our nutrition as well as our physical fitness. His format provides a full body workout that leaves us feeling energized.
