Robert Keller M.S., CSCS
Robert has been an avid strength athlete for over 40 years and a health and fitness professional for the past 25, serving in a variety of roles, from Manager of the fitness center at CBS Studios in Studio City, CA to Fitness Specialist for the world renowned Golden Door Spa in Escondido, CA. Along the way, Robert earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal State San Marcos in 2010, was named the Outstanding Student of that graduating class, and completed the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
In 2015, he earned a M.S. in Gerokinesiology from Cal State Fullerton, where he focused his studies on working with older adults and the importance of physical activity for the sake of successful aging. His research thesis involved examining lower-body muscle power among older adults. While completing his graduate studies, Robert served as a Certified Personal Trainer for the City of Newport Beach at the Oasis Senior Center, and he now holds a Senior Fitness Specialist Certification with the American Council on Exercise.
Robert’s expertise lies in addressing movement compensations that typically result in chronic pain and loss of function, utilizing a highly targeted approach to improving strength, mobility, and balance. In addition to serving the Rancho Bernardo community at Pure Motion, Robert is also an adjunct faculty member in Kinesiology at his Alma Mater, Cal State San Marcos.
